Hi guys,
We are looking to buy a Haas VM6. It looks great on their website and the brochure but we always bought Taiwaneese machines in the past and they've worked well.
I was wondering if someone can tell me if they actually use a VM6 for cutting molds or dies(since it's a mold machine), We cut 90% steel like: P20, 4140 and D2, if we only cut alluminum we wouldn't hesitate.
Can it rough ok? how's the finish? is the look ahead really good?
how's the accuracy? you know all the questions we ask before we take that big step.
Thanks in advance to all that reply.
I have cut 303 stainless castings on Haas machines before with no real problems while holding 0.001 tolerances.
