Can I hook this up? I bought a coolant tank/pump from a shop that only runs carbon on their VF-2. The tank has a sensor connected to what looks to be an RJ45? (phone jack) plug on it. Can I incorporate this into my TM-2 to shut off machining if the coolant gets low? Thanks Tim |

| I was told by my local HFO to disconnect the sensor and change a parameter in the control in our VF2SS. He said that the older machines, (ours is a 2002), had issues with the float shorting out and causing one of the control boards in the machine to die. It has been a couple of months now, so I am not sure whether it was the processor board, or the MOCON board. In either case, not a cheap fix. I do not know if that is true or not. Never the less, I turned it off and left it unplugged. Being a small shop, we cannot afford to have problems like that. Mike |
