    VF2 Run program with door open !!

    How can I run a program with the door open, the setting 51 doesn't override the door open alarm on my machine (it's a 2010 model). I need help....Thanks,Don

    You don't, unless you fudge the lock mechanism or trace wiring and bypass sensors. Which is not a wise thing to do during the warranty period.


    New VF4 Door Locks

    Door locks? this is crazy.

    I had the same problem setting #51. Changed it to "Y" & nothing changed. Hit "write" and respond to warning "are you sure" sort of thing, hit Y.
    You have to do this every time you power up.

    Newer Haas mills need parameter 57 door stop spindle changed from 1 to 0 as well as changing setting #51.
