So the tool change arm will do the change and then come home but will not apply the brake and will, after about a second long pause, will quickly move forward and cause a tool arm position alarm. i have cleaned up the brake, change the contactor, and also replaced the position prox sencors. any other suggestions would be much apprieciated. | I just checked the conections to the magnetic sensor for the spindle orientaion and those are good and tight. i was told that it may be on the edge of the orientation sensor and i should try adjusting the parameters for it back and forth just a hair to see if that might be the cause.i also noticed that when it inserts the tool it will sit for an extra couple seconds before going home and when this happens is when it drifts forward and alarms out. tomorrows another day. |
