We are going to make a demo video of our vf2 and want to be able to keep the door open so the camera can get an unobstructed view of the process. How do I disable this safety feature

setting 51 turned off

If it's a newer machine, you might have to turn off setting 7 (parameter lock) then change setting 586 (open door RPM)
or just tape a dime over the prox switch...

hit once.

page down to door hold override, switch to on.

yes to accept.

done.
