tool height and z fizture offsets

When using the renishaw probing system on a haas vf2, tool offsets are a positive offset and work offsets are a negative offsets. Without using the probe to set offsets, tools are a negative number and work is a positive number. How do you touch off tools to get a positive tool offset without using the probing system?

You can use an external tool presetter. You can also use setting 49. (Look up Setting 49 for more info, there are a lot of threads with some good setups.
    Thanks,
