Washdown hose that will last???

Has anyone found a type of hose for a washdown hose that doesnt get rock hard after awhile? Our VF-4 is not quite 3 years old and the washdown hose is rock hard, presumably from the coolant reacting with the hose.

Coolant is Hangsterfers S-500, but Valcool did the same thing to our VF-2 when we used it a few years ago.

use a regular garden hose and just cut to fit and replace the ends.
replace them every 1-2 years.
the tubing they use never worked well with hangstefers in a year it was getting hard,( we used the same type of tubing years ago, used to get it from the boat shop down the street for there drainlines when I saw what came on the haas I said Oh **** that sucks) I switched to extreme cut 250 and hoses last a tad big longer but thats not why I switched it was just something I noticed now that it was mentioned.

Dont get me wrong(not knocking) I liked hangstefers s500 and used it for 15+ years for general purpose machining on lathes and mills in everything for inco to alum.

Sounds like your machine is about the same generation as mine...my hose is perfect.

but my pump is going bad already...

I use Blaser coolant...
