Hello good folks. Here's a good question !!... Is there a code to calculate within the program a G55 zero, given a G54 and knowing the distance between the 2 fo them ??. I'v seen this with OKUMA, you simply find and store the G54 zero offset and then when the program is running, it adds a constant to X and Y values to create the rest of the WCS... Thanks! |

| On Haas machines you can do something similar using G52, have a look at the manual for a description or do a search here using "Haas G52". I have posted some explanations previously.

| G'day David, You may be able to use a G10 to do what you are after. I know you can set an offset from within the program using a G10 but I'm not sure if you can offset one offset from another directly. There is a bit in the Haas manual about it. Regards, Dave.
