we were looking to convert our vf4 a axis drive from brushless to the older brushed type a quick call to haas uk revealed that this is possible for a mere £1000 + vat ouch, so on further inspection we realised that we can just use the a axis drive wiring for a old vf1 which does not run a 4th axis anymore for the newer vf4 it took 1/2 hour and a screwdriver change a few parameters any hey presto all done and for a hell of a lot less that the quote for haas, Last edited by daleman; 10-28-2010 at 12:58 PM. |
