I am in the process of purchasing a new Haas Mini Mill. My MAXNC 10CL has been giving me trouble and I am ready to upgrade to a real machine! A local school purchased this mill but found that the floor that they wanted to put in on could not support the weight. Now I wont have to wait the 6-8 weeks for delivery because their machine will go to me.

I am wondering if I will have any trouble getting it through my garage door. The clearance is 82.5 inches. Will it fit or will I have to remove something from the spindle?

I had to unbolt the flexible conduit, so that it could layit over, to get my MiniMill in my garage.

So it is easy to do then? Does the spindle lay down? Could you provide a little more info? How tall is the entrance into your garage?

You have plenty of room to get it in. Put the spindle all the way down, and unhook the flexible conduit and you'll have 3-4 inches clearance. I did the same thing three months ago
