Has anyone ever wired a qwerty keyboard into a haas? I want to do this, and noticed that on the SKBIF (serial keyboard interface), there is also a 5 pin plug labeled "Keyboard" next to the 24 pin keyboard ribbon cable, but I cannot find any info on this plug. Can technicians plug some sort of test keyboard into this plug? If so, can I buy that test keyboard, or is it an adapter cable? The machine is paid for, and I'm not too worried about breaking it, I have access to a Haas simulator that I can plug into first to make sure it works.. Any help is appreciated.. |
