Run the text engraving as a sub process and only mirror that process. Needs a little thought to locate the mirroring point.

CAM programs can be frustrating. You might be able to find a font editor that you can make a mirrored font with. That is if the CAM package can select a font. ACAD simplex text makes quite a nice engraving font. (IMHO) Just explode the text. Offsetting a copy sideways slightly makes it look nice with different width vertical strokes due to double pass. Those lines are 1mm apart. Done with a dead 0.3mm drill ground flat on the end. Stainless steel. Cutter lasts 12 hours.
