*Crap, posted in the mill section instead of the lathe, moderator please move* I bought a late 06 SL10 brand new, and instead of buying the parts catcher option, I bought the tailstock (which I have never used) and the worthless chip auger/parts smasher (which is now sitting on the floor instead of in the machine) . I see that there is a bolted in plate on the outside of the machine where the parts would end up after being caught. Obviously a question for my HFO, but is there a "kit" I can buy to add the parts catcher option? I recently bought ethernet/hard drive boards for both my mill and my lathe from ebay and they work perfectly (and were only about $650 each, compared to the $3000 that the HFO wanted), and also added the Pcool option to my VF2 for under $300 (once again, an ebay purchase), and I am getting sick of digging all my parts out of the chip pile in the lathe, so it made me wonder.. | Yes, there is a kit for the parts catcher option. I don't know the correctly price in US $ but is nearly 2000€. on a SL-10 You can install the option by yourself or you can call and pay a Tech for 1-2 hours.
