Hi Everyone, Can somebody let me know if it is possible to install a chip auger and programmable coolant on my 2004 mini mill? What kind of retrofitting would it take... a new board? Also, what needs to be done to gain 4th axis capability? Thanks, - Andrew |

Your mini mill will not need a new IO board for the P cool It will just plug in to the existing board. You will need to run a cable up to the head though. sometimes factory will run the cable and just coil and tie bundle under the head cover. 4th axis is easy just need to buy the 4th axis kit from your local HFO. This will consist of an amplifier and cables with two plugs for mounting on side of electrical cabinet. The chip conveyor on a mini mill is alot of work probally not worth it if it wasnt built for one to begin with just leave it be. Hope i helped and good luck |
