| Help Hi, On our 2003 Tool Room Mill 1 we have the folowing problem: When the operator is changing the active program (from O1990 to O1991 as an example) there is small delay 1-2 secs and alarm mesages 212 and 250. Both alarmas say that there is a problem with memory and advise to clear all program memory. We did deleted all the programs and returned them again trough Rs232. But all is the same. When the operator clears the alarms he is able to work. So we are producing but these alarms are 'pain in the ass'. The haas service man will visit us on 7-th of June Can you help me. Regards: Martin |

| 050604-0840 EST USA marto74: I really have no idea of your specific problem. However, assume there might be a thermal problem ( meaning a component has an abnormal sensitivity to temperture ). Not much else you can do until serviceman comes because it is most likely a memory area hardware problem, so try this: open the electrical cabinet door and use a good size fan to blow on the processor board area which is probably near the upper left corner of the cabinet. An ordinary room fan ( 15" to 18" blade ( roughly 40 centimeters) ) will do. Maybe a couple feet from the area of interest. . |
