Alarm 149

Hallo guys, I've got a problem with a pretty old Haas F0 mfg. 1992. Orientation of a spindle for tool changing is controlled by a pin. When I turn the machine on I've got an alarm 149-spindle turning- and the spindle is not turning. This alarm can be reseted. Everithing goes normally till You want to change the tool or start turning the spindle. Then alarm 116-spindle orientation fault- goes on. I don't know where to find the element that controls spindle Help!

at the first: Sorry for my english.

I will try to explain it.
Your machine has a pin for the spindleorientation. this pin push in a hole from a ring. If anything from this parts damaged,loosened or broken, your machine can show the alarm 116.
Check the Pin, the Ring and the screws. This assy is located on the right backside from the spindlemotor.

The Alarm 149 comes from the MOCON/MOTIF PCB or from the spindledrive.
I don't know, if your machine has a Mitsubishidrive?

If you have both alarms, my feeling is, that you have a problem with the Motif/Mocon.

Maybe first you can check and clean the ribboncables from the Processorstack and the cableconnectors between the spindledrive and the processorstack.

It's not easy to find a reason for this problem without a fieldsurvey.
