haas TM1

I have just purchased a Haas TM1 2003 model, as nice as it looks I would like to get it going, I have power and can home or zero the machine and thats it, I have looked on Haas website and called but can not find a manual for this vintage, the ones available are for the VM series and usb connections, this one has the serial and floppy, anyone got a copy, preferably downloadable available.

At this point simply able to start the spindle and move the table would be great

We have used the Fanuc 6M and familar with it but need a place to start with this Haas

Attatched is the manual for TM machines.
This should be used in conjunction with the VF manual.

Hi,

What CAD/CAM software are you going to use?

I use ONECNC and I have a 2007 HAAS TM-1P and the post supplied for the HAAS has worked great for me and the projects I have completed.

They also offer a FREE program for DNCing programs from your computer to the RS232 serial port on your HAAS machine. Just some information that may be helpful. I believe you can download a demo copy with a limited time expiration i.e. 30 days. They also have a private website for ONECNC owners that offers help to individuals that own the software. It has been a GREAT help to me.
