1- I have a older VF-2 (1992) with a 9 pin serial port (and a larger port too, I think) but my new computer has only a USB for communication. Looks like an adapter is all that is needed. Do I need a particular type of USB to 9 pin adapter and is there anything, other than having equal tx and rx settings the same, I should know so this will work succesfuly? 2- Also is there a source for used parts for this machine? Its about due for a key pad as the current one has buttons not working (from lots of use). Machine still holds very well so she might be worth throwing a couple bucks into. Thanks  |
