I have two Haas Mini Mills in my shop. One is a 2001 and the other one is a 2000. The 2001 has the following macro program for serialization loaded in it. % O08010 ( SERIAL # & COUNTER MACRO ) ( SEE GEOMETRY WEAR OFFSET #200 FOR SERIAL # ) ( .0001 WILL ENGRAVE 0001 ) #140= [ #2200 * 10000 ] #141= FIX[ #140 * 0.001 ] #142= #141 + 8000. #140= ROUND[ #140 - [ #141 * 1000. ] ] #141= FIX[ #140 * 0.01 ] #143= #141 + 8000. #140= ROUND[ #140 - [ #141 * 100. ] ] #141= FIX[ #140 * 0.1 ] #144= #141 + 8000. #140= ROUND[ #140 - [ #141 * 10. ] ] #146= #140 + 8000. M98 P#142 M98 P#143 M98 P#144 M98 P#146 #2200= #2200 + 0.0001 M99 % When i tried to load this program into my 2000 mini mill it produces a "Bad Code' error. I tried looking through the parameters to see if their was a function that needed to be turned on in order to use macros but couldn't find anything. I did notice that my 2001 (with the macro working) is the yasnac (sp?) coordinate system and the 2000 is fanuc. Could that be the problem? Or am I missing an option that needs to be turned on? Any help is appreciated. J |

| There is an option that would need to be turned on. To find out if you havve the option : Press 'para/dgns' Then '57' then 'cursor down' look about half way down the right hand side of the screen you will probably see 'macros 0' the '0' indicates that the option is turned off. If you do the same on the minimill that will run the program then you should see 'macros 1' Hope this helps. |

$2200.00 to unlock that feature. Ya I don't think so. I would have paid maybe $500.00 for the code but $2200.00 seems a bit outrageous to unlock a feature on a 10 year old mill. I'll just run those ops on my other mill. |
