    cant find tap

    HI can any one tell me where to find 3/4 18tpi LEFT HAND tap 2b;spiral flute?thanx

    Here is a company link that will grind a 3/4-18 tap for $22.70. It doesn't specify left or right....call them and find out if that price is for either..

    You should just thread mill it. It's just G02 or G03 circular moves with a Z dimension (one thread pitch). Repeat it over and over until you've cut your entire thread. The fancy guys will loop the same line but, if that's beyond your comprehension, there's no reason to not just do it long hand. how many pitches do you need, 10, 12? That might be 15 minutes of programming.
