Can anyone give me some help turning the beep volume down? We have four TM-1 mills and one of them is much louder than the others.

Under the right side of the control you will find the 'beeper'. You will find that part of it turns to close or open making the sound louder or quieter.

does this go the same for VF-3 - VF -7?

Depends on th age of the machine. Beeper volume adjustment was introduced around 2001. All machines after that age have beeper adjustment.

The older machines can be adjusted as well, but it's more of a permanant adjustment. It involves a screwdriver (or other such implement) jammed up into the beeper.
