The specs on the DT-1 call for a 100 amp service, seems like a lot of amps for a 15 hp machine. I am going to use a digtial phase convertor, the one for 20 hp has 64 amps the one for 100 amps is alot more money. any ideas

That does sound like a lot of amps. My 30hp okuma with a cat 50 taper runs off of a 100 amp 240v 3phase circut.
