We have a HAAS TL-2 with the Intuitive Programming System (IPS). When using the IPS to generate output to MDI, the starting positions in X and Z are offset by 0.05" (1.27mm metric) for startup clearance, I presume. For awhile we lived with it, then we started changing the output values in on the MDI screen. It seems there should be a setting that controls what this offset value is, much like setting 73 that controls the retract distance when doing a G71 or G72, but I can't find it listed in the documentation or in the setting pages. Any help would be appreciated. |
