TL-1 breaker size

Anyone know what amperage breaker I need to buy to hook up a TL-1 (3 phase 220V)? I know I saw it on the Haas site somewhere but I'll be darned if I can find it again now that I need to buy the breaker.

All of that information is in their pre-installation manual, available at:
http://www.haascnc.com/custserv_updates.asp#custserv

This is the manual:
http://www.haascnc.com/pdf/ES0332.pdf

The answer is 50 Amp with 8 gauge wire.

Thanks for the links gents. I knew I had seen it on the Haas website somewhere but just couldn't find it again. My new lathe comes on Wed and I am trying to get everything ready.

Dunno', that's what their pre-installation manual says. I agree. I think the 50 amp rating was actually for single phase installation but it was all they listed in that online manual.

Sorry, didn't mean to introduce possible feelings of inadequacy; the dig was aimed at Sancho Panza's boss.

I have two TL1s and one TL2 and I am very happy with all three.

No worries. I am upgrading from a WIMPY Grizzly 3 in 1 lathe/mill/drill. Compared to that thing the TL-1 is a monster.

Maybe not a monster but you can do serious work on it. All the parts for the conversion I describe in this thread were machined on my other TL1.

Which options did you get with it? Toolpost? Chucks? I assume that at very least, you got the tailstock?

Pretty basic. Chuck, toolpost, coolant, tailstock, rigid tap, A basic set of Kennametal indexable toolholders (CNxx., VNxx, A2/3 cut off, 1" boring bar & a "top notch" toolholder). Basic yes but still a huge upgrade from my little Grizzly 3 in 1 lathe/mill/drill. I really would have liked to add the turret toolpost but it just wasn't in the budget for now.

Yes I do know if I use the coolant I'll need rain gear. I plan to build my own shields eventually. I did that on my TM-1 over the first 6 months I owned it and it is down to barely a drip now.
