We got our Haas SL-10 2 1/2 years ago and had the service tech install the collet nose at that time. Now I need to install the chuck ( 6" kitagawa ) and I either can't find the chuck wrench or don't know what I'm looking for ....or BOTH (lol). Anyway I'm hoping someone can upload or pm me a pic or tell me if there is another wat to thread this thing to the drawtube. thanks |

| Look inside the chuck and you will see the notches in the drawtube nut that the wrench fits into. What you are looking for is a piece of heavy tube with the end machined to form two dogs that go into those notches, about six inches long with a cross hole at the other end. Make one out of a length of round bar.
