Speed up TL-1 tool turret

Has there anyone tried to speed up the 4 station tool turret on a Haas TL-1.
Standard there is a gearmotor mounted with following spec's :

MOLON
Model : CHM-1289-6
F/L RPM 7,5
F/L TORQUE 56 IN-LB
F/L AMP 1,1
VOLTS 12 vdc
ROTATION ccw

How old is your machine? I have a 2003 TL1 with a very slow changer but my 2005 TL2 was much faster. The original one on the TL2 is no longer in use, I terminally modified it:

I will take the cover off the bottom and see if it has the same motor.

The replacement turret is much faster as I mention in that thread.

It's a 2006 TL1, whe have replaced the gearbox already 2 times, because of broken theet in the gearbox.

I don't have any complete pictures but post #43 in the link I gave you earlier shows a close up view of the servo cover that is alongside the new one. The base of the toolchanger is pretty much the same as the original style but with an extension under the servo location.

It changes much fast; about 1 to 1-1/2 seconds is my guess.
