Angry Active tooling alarm 186

I'm trying to use the active tooling on a TL-25 Haas Lathe. I have written a small program in MDI mode and tried to run it. I'm able to rotate the main spindle into position, I lock it. I activate the live tooling, but when I go to MOVE the head, alarm 186 pops up telling me I'm basically trying to move the head but the main spindle is not rotating. How can I disable this alarm.

Cool

If by active tooling you mean live tooling it sounds like your missing the M154 to turn on the c-axis.

Unhappy M154 helped but alarm 390 is now popping up

progress!

T707
M133 P1300
M154
G99
M14
G01 G54 X0.59 F.001

Adding the M154 got rid of the 186 error, but the new error is:

390 - No spindle speed set
S code has not been encountered - Add a S code

Thanks for the help.

Cool

your m133 p1300 need to be after the m154. & forget the m14. No need to lock the spindle for c-axis work.

Is that a miss print or do you really have m139 in the program. it shold be m133 or m134 depending on the spindle rotatstion that you want. M135 will stop the spindle.

I missed it. You have a g99 in there. you need g98 for inches per minute which would make your feed rate f1.3.

Oh I am using a right angle head a cutting a flat on the end of a shaft

So I am not moving the C at all. I am cutting Titanium so I locked the spindle to keep the shaft rigid. Does the M14 matter?
