I currently have a Haas TM-2 & a VF-3 mill. I am ready for the lathe but am unsure of which one to go for. Any suggestions or input on either would be really helpful. We are a job shop, so high production isn't a big factor at this time. Thanks in advance. |

| I got a SL20 , this is a nice machine , this isn`t just a toy like TM`s ( I got one too ) We run parts from 10 pcs and this isn`t too difficult. I know how difficult work can be without property covers (TM) and I know how coolant is treated by a chuck (SL) I never ever go to TL`s. What I miss in the SL is a parts catcher ( don`t like to dig out small parts in the chip auger ) and a live tooling. Last edited by pit202; 10-12-2008 at 01:54 AM. |
