| I guess I saw your query too late. As I recall it the bracket bolts on to two or three of the bolts around the bearing housing and onto something on the turret. But I must be forgetting something because the spindle has to be immobilized also. I have shipped a machine by mounting a boring bar in the turret then gripping it in the chuck; the idea is that you want to stop either the spindle or the axes vibrating during transport. If it is going a short distance by truck it is probably not necessary; if it is going by rail it is essential. If you still need a pic I can scrabble around in our pile of red painted brackets and (maybe) find it.

| Actually, we are moving the shop. About 4 miles into an 11k ft building. All moved now. Went and got my 4020 Akira Seiki yesterday out of storage. Leveling machines, stringing cable and trying to stay out of the electricians way. |
