looking for tl -4 info

Hello. I'm looking for non-biased tl-4 information. I've been looking for some time to buy a machine for cutting large heavy pipe threads. I was wondering if anyone out there had a tl-4 and what their thought were on it. It looks like a plenty heavy machine, but without looking at one, im not sure how tough it would be or how much integrity it would have. does it have handwheels like the tl-3 and smaller machines? Im also not sure about haas's intuitive programing. I have experiance with mazatrol (lathe and mill) and can program just about anything i need using that. I was wondering what kind of learning curve it might take going from mazatrol to haas's conversational control. If anyone can tell me what they think of the tl-4 or the control, i would appricate it.

You might want to carefully check dates, that post is over 3 years old. I'm sure he either has one or is no longer in need of one.

I have done this many times too! I quickly learned to check post dates.

I have a TL3 and TL4.
Both pieces were purchased for processing in the oil field and both are some misfires. Especially when used with socket type devices Dorian.
In short, give you a tip: if you want to buy such equipment, ask the supplier to make a demonstration on the types of songs (and especially the threads API) that you have in production. To no misunderstandings later ...
