Howdy,

I was fooling with a G72 on a bar feed progroam (G105) . I figured it would not be a bad idea to take of .01 for each part however, I experienced undesireable results. The cycle ended up taking off almost .25

The code:

Spindle stuff
G50 S2000
.....
....
G0 x-.062 z.100
G72 P3 Q7 D.02 F.007
n3G0 G41 z.025
G1 Z0.0 F.007
X.624 z-0.062
n7 G0 G40 X.8
G28

On my G54 Zface I touched off and bumped it -.01 for clean-up. I was really surprised when this cycle took 4 or more passes and excessive material.

Perhaps this has to do with the missing u and k?

My fix was to simply remove the g72.

What would be a good way to have this cycle clean up with a .01 pass.
