copy a program from MDI to a saved program?

Yep just type a Program Number(Oxxxxx) as the first line and it will be saved to memory..

Remember to push ALTER.

thank you, I was thinking more of copying and pasting...just figured you could do it that way. I was showing a guy the intuitive stuff for ease of programming. I know there's the record function that would save multiple ops using the IPS.

You can not just copy the contents of MDI memory and paste it into a program. You have to save it as a program in memory first.
