My TL15 clunks then making a tool change

It changes fine, but is hitting something internally. You can visually see it move about a sixteenth of an inch. If it changes to a tool on the other side of the turret, it only clunks at the initial change, and not past all of the tool positions.

This started about two weeks ago. Nothing has been crashed into. No servicing.

the turret die springs are shot you need to pull the turret and replace the die springs the large o ring and maybe the needle bearings and thrust washers. probably anywhere from 4 hours to all day job for an experienced guy, depending on if you run into problems.

I did my SL10 the last time around...I had it apart and back together in four hours with the help of my "Other" repair guy on the phone. Haas charged me 19 hours labor plus lots of parts the first time.
