WE PURCHASED A NEW SL-30 4 MONTHS AGO AND ASIDE FROM A GEARBOX FAILURE IN THE FIRST 2 DAYS IT HAS BEEN O.K. SO FAR ,BUT IT DEFINITELY HAS A LACK OF TORQUE.MY DAEWOO LATHES HAVE A LOT MORE GUTS AND I LIKE THE FANUC CONTROL OVER THE HAAS. AS FAR AS DEPENDABILITY IT IS TO EARLY TO TELL. I WOULD LOOK INTO SOMETHING LIKE A DAEWOO LYNX 220 OR SOMETHING SIMILAR .
