    TL2 Sliding Doors Switches

    Hi All,

It has been a few years since I used a Haas Toolroom lathe. I have just started with a new company and can't remember how to run it with the doors open. I know you need the chuck guard down but I am sure when I previously used a TL1 that you could run it with the sliding doors open to get a better look at what you are doing and use it as a 'manual lathe' if required.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Haas Factory Support

Please read the setting 51 section of the manual to refresh yourself on the open-door operation.
    Thanks,

Setting 51 was winner thanks very much. The Haas service engineer we had up was pretty new to the job so it was a bit of new info for him and a refresher for me over the past couple of days.
