You need to know the Z position of the tip of each tool. If you know this then you could touch off one tool and set all the others relative to this one.
On a milling machine this approach is possible because you can calibrate each tool out side the machine and have the gage length.
I do not know of any way to calibrate lathe tools outside the machine and be confident this calibration has any meaning when the tools a put in the machine.
I think you are stuck with touching off all the tools which is not that difficult on a Haas.
