Did you ever figure this out?
I bought HAAS VF-2SS and I'm trying to make custom VPS template for easy and faster programming.
Is there a manual/tutorial for using excel template 'VPS Template.xls' witch already came with machine ?
For now I figure out how to put images, how to write code but I cannot figure how to get variables from machine, how to calculate variables etc.
Maybe someone know how to download existing VPS templates to PC/USB?

what do you want to do? Maybe i can help you
Hello,
I know this is an old thread but i'm really interested in programming my own vps codes.
We have a new Haas VF2-SS where I also found the template. On my own I found out how to make some simple vps programs with variables.
Does anyone have more documentation around this subject? How to program the vps like Renishaw/haas own programs?
hy alex, i don't have experience with haas, but i can help you with general informations, remote conversationals, etc
haas renishaw vps at 1:25 in here ( if you wish, contact the youtube user for specifics ) :
we are merely at the start of " Internet of Things / Industrial Revolution 4.0 " era : a mix of AI, plastics, human estrangement, powerful non-state actors ...
Hello, I also played a bit with the template.xml. Here is an example of a position macro with max. 5 positions.

The only thing I found was the template stored in the machine but I have no idea how to use the said template. If someone knows how to use the said template I'd be very grateful, I have a couple of different VPS templates I'd like to create.
To use the VPS template, you have to copy it from the machine to the PC and open it with Excel.
Here is the example from the picture. Correct the file extension to .XML

Any update on this? We have gotten our VPS program to work, but not the images...
In the directory with the macro, a subdirectory for the images.
Attention! A dot in front of the name of the subdirectory hides the directory on the machine. Then you can no longer get to the pictures. At least I didn't make it.
The image size is 420 x 300 px. Format .png or .jpg
Thank you guys for sharing that template with a position macro with max. 5 positions. I guess I understood and could remake this. So hard in the beginnings. Does it work also with cheap vps server ? Trying to keep everything on a budget while learning)) A have another question, maybe someone could help me. I would like to switch to an unmanaged vps, but I am a bit confused because by now I have worked only with the manager versions. Some friends told me that it works better, but I am wondering about the control features. Is it possible to still have some control so that the websites run with no problem?
Any way to make use of optional parameters? I know that macros with #0 are ignored, but that's not works there — I've tried ::MY_OPTIONAL_VAR:: EQ ##0##, but that's not working; and $$ syntax too. Creating lot of gcode variants is not a way.
it should work on vps kvm i think no problems
