Morning, we have a Haas VF-0 CNC mill.
It has error codes 119 and 123.
Phoned Haas and after hearing the error codes said we would need a new drive, cost was in five figures.
A drive company has already looked at the drive and changed the capacitors but we still have the same fault.
So we are looking for a recommendation of a company in the UK to repair this drive. Unless someone have an easy fix?
Regen resisters: 8.2 ohm
DC voltage is 330v (√2 line voltage) 640C is 3.3v
No shorts on motor.
Those drives are a dying breed. If it's a Brushless machine you're better off getting the vector drive upgrade if you want to keep this machine alive for another 10 yrs.
Also, there are very few companies that will repair this drive. There are some companies in the United States, but to be brutally honest it'll be in the 5 figures to repair it correctly as well.
