Can you take a screen shot of it for me please?
Hi guys!
Does anyone have any idea what's going on when you boot an SL10-t from 2001 and all you get is a
0
on the screen? The Haas tech answer was to replace the mocon board and the processor, which would darn near be 2/3rds of the machines value.
When I questioned the answer, the tech said,"Well it's gotta to be one of those." Not the solid knowledge base I would looking for.
Thank for any and all help!
Matt

Yes, and sorry for dropping this in the wrong forum. I didn't know there was a lathe only one.
It will take a few minutes as I have to swap a power cable over. Thanks for any and all help in advance!
Here you go.

I uploaded a short video to google photos.
I thought it would be useful to see what happens during the start. The keys are responsive but don't do anything other than the start or off - from what I can tell.
Thoughts or advice would be seriously appreciated. Thanks!
Thank you for the video, they're very helpful. Although from what I just seen could be the processor board, mocon, video board or software curropted. Although if you can check a few things that could possibly causing this as well. If you feel comfortable doing this. Turn the power off remove the cover plate on the processor stack in the top left hand corner inside the control cabinet. If you don't have a metal plate covering those 2-3 circuits boards not to worry. Anyway you will see two bigger ribbon cables connected to the boards. The two ribbon cables will be jumping the 2-3 boards together from front to back. Those two ribbon cables are the communication cables between the three boards, you can undo them and then reseat them back onto the boards connectors. If by chance you have a flaky connection between them you could experience what you're experiencing. You can private message me with your number so I can help you out over the phone. Go ahead and try that and let me know. Thanks
I already sent the number and contact info by PM. You Rock!! Thank you!
