On my Super Mini Mill, I removed the stock coolant routing (18 feet long), and made a distribution block mounted on the inside of the enclosure (back wall) just up from the coolant pump. I have 3 circuits and ball valves on it -- one to the programmable nozzle, one to the Loc-Line fixed nozzle, and one with a quick disconnect for a wash-down hose.
End result is that the lines are all very short, and nothing is routed internally through places it can't be seen. It's worked out well for me so far.
Oh, fwiw: I'm running cutting oil in my machine, not water-soluble coolant.
