Vector,
you could have an incorrect parameter value, incorrect setting value, the solenoids not operating correctly,I/O board could be bad or relays k9-k12 on the I/O board could be acting up. Hope this helps you
Hi, Im new to the forum so hopefully this is the right place to post this.
I have a 2009 Haas Super Mini Mill 2 with the side mount tool changer.
Im having an intermittent problem during tool changed where the drawbar doesn't seem to be activating at all. The ATC arm pulls the tool holder out with a loud pop, during the switch to a new tool there is no air sound coming from the spindle like normal. Then when the arm goes to put the next tool in the spindle it jams the throws an alarm. I then have the go through the recovery and manually move the arm back. The second tool holder is jamming because the the draw bar is still closed so the pull stud is hitting it instead of going into it.
When I manually put tools in the spindle the draw bar and air blast work perfectly every time. The problem is during MDI tool changed and while a program is running. Its happening more frequently and it feels like Im going to do damage if it persists.
Has any one else had a similar problem? If so any insight on how to fix it?

Add another thing to what HFO Tech has said the quick exhaust valve will be about shot by now and causes this same problem

Mactec54,
Good call, but from what he is stating the precharge and Trp solenoids aren't even turning on.
Although he should still hear the valve exhausting through its own muffler.
