2013 Haas Mini mill Z ball screw failure

Good day,

I have a fairly low run time Haas Mini Mill purchased new in 2013. I have two other Mini Mills dating back to 2001 and 2006. They are both fairly high run time and have run very well. My new machine ended up with a bad ball screw and nut. When it was removed I see that it was made in China? The replacement is made in Germany. Has anyone else had ball screw failures and were the original screws made in China? Here is a photo of the screw and nut.
