Adjust backlash parameter, adjust 10E89 parameter, adjust compensation table
hi, I've been using this machine for couple of months now and started noticing that it developed inconsistencies.
Meaning, it does not return to correct position always.
It mills one part, everything is fine, it mills 10 parts, I notice 0.01mm deviation on a vise, 10 parts more, 0.03mm, two days later, its 0.22mm...
Then I have to calibrate A axis, then it starts all over again.
Is there a way to correct this alignment or encoder issue through parameters? How, which one?
Thanks

Go to your setting #7 turn off parameter lock. Hit param/dgns button until you parameters are visible which is usually visible after hitting that button once. Type 43 then hit the down cursor button Which are you a -axis parameters. Use the page up or down or you cursor buttons to select the parameters I suggested originally. Try adjusting those values by 10,100,1000. Home out your tr160. Then run whatever check you were doing to see the variables values you're noticing. If it's gets better you're going in the right direction.although if it gets worse go in a negative value. If it still doesn't get better then you have a mechanical issue inside your trunnion.
