Hi,

We got an error that the battery on the main board was dead, so today I drove to our local outlet and bought the battery replacement kit, and installed it, but it looks like the machine needs a re-install.

By the time I got back today, the outlet was closed, so I either need to wait for a service call tomorrow, or try and figure this out tonight.

Machine is: 2013 Haas SMM

When I load the usb stick there are a few files.

(ourmachinesserial#).TXT
(ourmachinesserial#).PAR
README.TXT
MIPSV1.20
MARWIPS.V14
RENWIPS.V28
VQCPSMEB.V19
RUN-IN.PGM
.fseventsd (I think this file was put on here when I opened the USB on my PC, not sure though)

So far I tried loading these files following the instructions here

https://diy.haascnc.com/restoring-backup

I got it to a point where the screen is still blacked out in many areas, the axes are working, I can hand jog, spin the spindle, and I can do a powerup restart on the machine but it stops when it is about to do a tool change and gives error 363 (something about coolant).

I am thinking one of these files contains a bunch of parameters that need to be set.

Does anyone know the proper procedure to do this? I would try and wait until tomorrow, but we need to make parts urgently, also avoiding the service call fee would be nice.

Thanks!
