HAAS TL1 locked paramaters

Hi, I regularly use a 2006 HAAS TL1 lathe and have tried to add a floppy disk drive (actually a usb emulator). I have a code for this but when I go to the parameter to enable floppy drive rather than a 1 or 0 it has Ot. When highlighted it tells me the function is locked. Does anyone know how I can access it to enter the code?
