Hi, I've just started playing with MeshCAM (with DesignCAD) and I am trying to decide whether or not to buy it before Sept 1! I have a number of machine parts with holes through them, all parallel to the X,Y or Z axes. Can I use MeshCAM to generate individual tool-paths for each face by rotating the parts to the desired face as I import them, and then setting the max cut depth to 1/2 the depth of that side of the stock? Thanks. |

| You should be able to. You can also rotate the part 90 degrees in DesignCAD and bring each "side" into MeshCAM seperately.

| It might not have when this thread started, but MeshCAM can do indexed 4th axis, so it can output code for as many sides as you want.
