Google Sketchup to Meshcam need verifying

Hey guys I am new to the whole cnc universe. Basically I know that meshcam can import stl. files and does it rather well. I had another program on my computer that creats text in dxf. and I imported it into sketchup and drawn a box around it. I just want to know that meshcam can do this visually. Yes I know Meshcam has a 60 day trial but I am no where near completing my router. I wanted to learn software during the nights and build on the weekends. Also I run on a 56k modem, so to download anything under a days time I have to drive 30 minutes into town and drink some horrible tasting coffee. Here is the picture and the stl. file

Yes, it loads into MeshCAM.

great thanks for verifying it. Now to start saving the money to buy another program.

Download the demo and try it. When it runs out just email me and I'll issue an additional 60 days. You can wait to buy until you have the router done, but you might as well begin learning about the software part of it now.

Thanks Rob, I will probably go into town this Friday or Saturday and download the program and give it a try. I was wondering if you have a link to a users guide or does it come bundled with the program?
