You might also be having brown outs, if you can consider adding a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) to the computer that runs your CNC machine.
That will at least keep that computer from going nuts.

You know, I live here and I don't know. I'll assume you're right.
What I do know is that thanks to the rolling blackouts, my CNC computer blew a drive.
Thankfully have most things on a usb stick, but not the code I was having trouble with. Looks like this weekend I'll be rebuilding my gcodes.
I wonder of those weird cuts might magically go away?![]()

In case anyone wondered what in the world happened to me, I had some motor issues and took care of that. Now that's done, back to software.
Though starting tomorrow I'll be away for a week, and I think my meshcam trial will be over by then. I didn't get much of a chance to work with it...where does the time go?
I'll get back to this as soon as I'm back.
Thanks.
Mike
Contact Robert if you need more time to try it out.

Finally back.
Had great success with my guitar body cut, the neck not so much.
Attached is my gcode for the neck rough. If you see around line 1510 or so, you'll see how the bit tries to cut through 1" of material in one shot.
Let me know what else you would like to see to help diagnose this problem.
Thanks!
Mike
If you can duplicate the results, send Robert the model and the settings you use to cause the problem.
