Is the new 160v version VSD-E compatible with Fuji ACservo motor GYS series ? It is a 200 V AC servo with 17bit serial encoder (incremental), my concern is the encoder part only Thank you Last edited by Johan Cnczone; 05-23-2009 at 04:49 AM. |

| Hi Johan, I'm not familiar with those particular motors but your motor is probably Ok if encoder outputs also standard quadrature signals. There is a motor compatibility chapter in VSD-E manual describing different aspects of motor matching. |

| Hi Xerses, Thank you for your reply. I attached some of the fuji spec sheet. I cannot find more detailed specification for the encoder, but there is a connection diagram between the motor and fuji servo controller, maybe you can take alook and comment. The reason I am planning to use the motors is because the motors is readily available here ( no need for importing motors from other country ) so I just need to buy the VSDs from you

| Wiring sheet doesn't indicate that it would have quadrature outputs in addition to serial. Perhaps installation of standard encoder is necessary to use other than Fuji drives. CUI AMT102 are cheap and good encoders if you can fit one in there. |
