I`m designing a small cnc mill for milling aluminium rc car parts over here.

would it be possible to drive a small linear servo motor.

Hi Roy,

Yes, permanent magnet linear motors are supported. I have built a small linear servo and tested it (photos are buried in somewhere in older threads).
